★ Yellow broad-billed tanager
Shirokalova yellow Tangier is a species of bird from the mangrovyh family. birds live in coastal zones of rivers, streams, subtropical and tropical low-lying forests, 0 - 1450 meters above sea level. body length 16.5 cm, wings 8.8 cm and tail 6.6 cm, weight about 36 grams.
There are three subspecies:
- Chlorothraupis carmioli - in the mountains, on the slopes from the Caribbean Sea and in the valleys and on the slopes from the Pacific Ocean, from East Nicaragua south in northwest Panama in the city of Almirante in the province of Bocas del Toro.
- Chlorothraupis carmioli lutescens (Chlorothraupis carmioli lutescens) - from the center of Panama from southeast to northwest Colombia on the slopes of Cerro Tacarcuna in the Choco department.
- Chlorothraupis carmioli magnirostris - on the slopes of the mountains in the Veraguas province of Western Panama.
